Program Terms & Content Guidelines

These Galatea Creators Program Terms & Content Guidelines (the “Program Terms”) govern participation in the Galatea Creators program (the “Program”), operated by Inkitt GmbH (“Galatea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering, submitting a post, or otherwise participating in the Program, you agree to these Program Terms and the Galatea Terms of Use. If these Program Terms conflict with the Galatea Terms of Use on a Program-specific issue, these Program Terms control.

1. Eligibility and registration

You may participate only if you:

• are at least 18 years old;
• provide accurate registration and contact information;
• post from a public TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook page or Pinterest account that you own or control; and
• live in a country where Galatea chooses to offer the Program and where participation is permitted by law.

Stories, private groups, direct messages and other content that is not publicly visible do not count. Galatea may determine that a creator or post is ineligible based on authenticity, brand fit, legal or platform requirements, Program capacity, or other reasonable Program considerations.

2. Credits and weekly review

Submitting a post does not guarantee credits. Galatea reviews every submitted post. Submit by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time for Thursday review; later submissions roll into the following week. Qualifying credits are expected to be added to your Program balance on Friday. Operational delays may occur.

The current earning rates are:

• video posts: 10 credits for each complete 1,000 verified organic views (partial 1,000-view increments are rounded down);
• photo posts: 5 credits each, for up to 4 photo posts per calendar month; and
• a one-time 20-credit first post bonus when your first eligible post reaches 100 verified organic views. Each participant may earn only one first post bonus, regardless of the number of accounts or posts used.

Galatea determines the view count, participant identity, eligibility period and supported platforms, and may measure a qualifying post again and reward only new complete 1,000-view increments that were not previously rewarded. Each post must remain public for at least 30 days and must be submitted within 14 days of the date it was published.

3. Disclosure and honest opinions

Every post must carry #GalateaCreators near the top of the caption, and must use the platform's paid-partnership or branded-content label where the platform offers one (for example TikTok's commercial content toggle or Instagram's Paid Partnership label). Posts without the required disclosure are not eligible.

Your posts must reflect your honest opinions and actual experience. Galatea never requires or rewards a positive opinion, and credits are never conditional on what you say about a book. Galatea does not offer credits or any other reward for app store ratings, Amazon reviews, Goodreads reviews or reviews on any other review platform.

4. Credits and rewards

Credits are a Program balance shown on this site. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, refunds or other compensation, never convert to Galatea points or any other in-app currency, and can be redeemed only for the rewards offered on this site. The current rewards are:

• A free book in the Galatea app: 50 credits
• $10 Galatea Shop gift card: 100 credits (Use it on merch or print books at shop.galatea.com)
• A free week of Galatea Unlimited: 100 credits (One a month)

Free weeks of Galatea Unlimited are limited to one per calendar month, measured in Pacific Time. Earning rates and reward prices are published on this site, may change, and changes apply prospectively as described in Section 8.

5. Organic views and prohibited activity

Organic views are genuine views generated without payment or artificial coordination. Views generated through paid promotion, purchased engagement, engagement exchanges or pods, bots, boosting, or other manipulation do not count.

You may not provide false information, impersonate another person, submit content you did not create or control, repost someone else's content, submit the same post under multiple identities, or interfere with Program review. Galatea may refuse a post, disregard suspicious activity, request supporting information, withhold or reverse credits for fake views, reposted content or any breach of these Program Terms, remove a creator from the Program, or require corrective action.

6. Content standards

Your posts must comply with applicable law and each platform's rules and must not contain false or misleading claims, unlawful material, hate or harassment, unauthorized personal information, infringing content, or material that could reasonably harm Galatea, its authors, partners, or community.

You are responsible for obtaining all rights and permissions needed for material you add, including music, footage, artwork, and the name, image, voice, or performance of any other person. Do not include minors or other identifiable people unless you have legally sufficient permission.

7. Rights in creator posts

You retain ownership of original material you create. For every post you submit, you grant Galatea the limited right to access, review, verify, store a record of, and link to the post for Program administration, compliance, and measurement. Galatea must obtain separate permission before using your post outside those limited Program-administration rights.

You represent that you have authority to grant these rights. Galatea may request changes to content if a rights or compliance concern arises. Nothing in these Program Terms waives any remuneration, moral right, or other right that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

8. Review, suspension, and changes

Galatea may monitor submitted public posts for Program compliance, and may reject a post, withhold or reverse credits, suspend a creator, or end participation for failure to meet these Program Terms. Galatea's Program decisions are final to the extent permitted by law.

Galatea may modify, pause, or end the Program, change requirements, earning rates, reward prices or available rewards, restrict eligible countries or platforms, or stop accepting submissions. We will post material changes with an updated effective date and, when practical, communicate changes to active creators. Changes apply prospectively unless immediate action is reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud, rights, or platform-policy reasons.

9. Independent participation and general terms

Participation does not make you an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Galatea, and you may not make commitments on Galatea's behalf. You are responsible for taxes or reporting obligations associated with rewards you receive.

The Program is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Pinterest, Apple, Google, or any other social or distribution platform. The warranty, liability, dispute-resolution, governing-law, and other general provisions of the Galatea Terms of Use apply to the Program, except that nothing in these Program Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
